2. CLEMSON QB DESHAUN WATSON

In much the same way Leonard Fournette and Trevone Boykin were interchangeable at No. 1 and 2 a few weeks ago, Deshuan Watson and Derrick Henry flip spots depending on your source.

Watson did nothing in Week 11 to downgrade him from 1 to 2 for those who had him pegged as the front-runner after Week 10. He completed 34-of-47 yards in a quasi-trap game at Syracuse with two touchdowns, and rushed for 105 yards (just below the season-high he set last week vs. Florida State) and a third touchdowns.

Watson is cruising along impressively. His spot at the Heisman presentation is as good as booked, barring a disastrous finish.

1. ALABAMA RB DERRICK HENRY

Derrick Henry picked a helluva time to have his best game of an already impressive season.

Playing in the 3:30 p.m. ET window on CBS, Henry smashed a Mississippi State defense that ranked among the nation’s very best against the run prior to Week 11.

With his fourth consecutive multiple rushing touchdown game, and sixth on the season, Henry has established him the clear cornerstone of Alabama’s offense.

He’ll smash Trent Richardson’s rushing touchdown mark from Richardson’s Heisman finalist 2011 season (21), and is exactly 200 yards shy of Mark Ingram’s yardage output from Ingram’s Heisman-winning 2009.
