November performances define Heisman Trophy candidacies. Front-runners like Alabama running back Derrick Henry and Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson are hitting their stride at just the right time, both to pace their teams’ title aspirations and bolster their case for college football’s most prestigious, individual award.

Henry and Watson are running a close 1-and-2, but two regular-season weeks and conference championship Saturday are ample time for others to disrupt the chase.

Remember, it was just two weeks ago that Leonard Fournette and Trevone Boykin were the running back-quarterback duo neck-and-neck in the Heisman forecast.

The current Heisman race is shaping up as one of the trophy’s most memorable in recent years. Stay tuned as CFB Huddle keeps tabs on the Heisman outlook down the stretch.
