Maryland football has new Testudo debuting in its pregame hype video, completely with prominent Under Armour branding. This comes courtesy of Daniel Martin from Comcast SportsNet:

Testudo is obviously quite psyched to be joining the Big Ten this season. The longtime Maryland mascot also apparently took some cues from BuzzFeed and turned back the clock to the 1990s to draw inspiration for his new look.
First, the new physique. There’s no possible way he passes testing for performance enhancing drugs, right? Testudo quite obviously took his workout regime straight from Lattimer in the 1993 film The Program. If he starts headbutting windshields outside Byrd Stadium, Randy Edsall will need to intervene:
Assuming Testudo isn’t popped for PEDs, he might have to be leery of New Line Cinema suing for copyright infringement. This new-look Testudo is awfully reminiscent of Tokka from the 1991 movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze.
Hopefully for Maryland fans’ sake, Testudo doesn’t call West Virginia’s Mountaineer “mama” when the Terps return home in Week 3. However, the possibility of a halftime performance by Vanilla Ice is certainly intriguing.
